Hi everyone! I’m Trini Rae, the founder of PoundthePavement. net. (I am clearly channeling my inner Audrey Hepburn in this photo.)
I am a daughter, a sister, a dog and cat lover, a reader, a lover of music and all things Bravo, a dancer, a friend, and a follower of Jesus Christ. I am currently a preschool teacher working with 2 to 3 year-olds.
I love writing and talking about how to get ahead in your career. I started this blog in 2011 (I can’t believe it’s been 5 years!) as a way to help other young people get ahead in their career, hence the title Pound the Pavement.
This blog has grown into a space for me to express myself and share the lessons I have learned in my own life. I share my goals, my likes and interests, and the helpful tips I have learned on different topics such as saving money and staying organized. I believe if you want something in your life whether that be a certain job title or career path, a college degree, or just to be more organized you have to be the one to go out and make it happen for yourself.
John F. Kennedy once said, “Things do not happen. Things are made to happen.”
Like I said before, I believe in Jesus Christ and am a Christian. I am hoping to write more about my faith in the future.
I hope you enjoy my blog!
Thank You for Stopping By! 🙂
